Geoff Ballotti
Geoff Ballotti is chief executive officer of RCI, the worldwide leader in vacation exchange with 3.7 million members and more than 4,000 affiliated resorts in nearly 100 countries. As head of RCI, Ballotti oversees a network of renowned accommodation brands around the world as well as more than 8,000 associates working in 72 offices in 33 countries. Prior to his appointment to RCI in March of 2008, Ballotti was most recently president of the North America division of Starwood Hotels and Resorts where he led a portfolio of 450 hotels with 65,000 associates and system-wide revenues in excess of $10 billion. During his 19 years with Starwood, he served in various roles including real estate development, call center and travel distribution management, marketing, sales, and regional multi-brand hotel operations. Ballotti also brings international and global experience to RCI, having led operations for Starwood in Europe. He speaks both French and Italian. Before entering the hospitality industry, Ballotti earned a bachelor’s degree from the University at Colby College and a master’s degree from Harvard. He also worked for the Bank of New England in corporate and commercial real estate finance.
